Viswabharathi Group of Institutions are promoted by the Regional Educational Development Society (REDS), a non-profitable organization, established under the Societies Act in 1992. Regional Educational Development Society is a not for profit organization founded to impart new values and skills to those who have the potential and willingness to face the challenges of 21st century.

The founder of this society, Sri A.V.V.Raju, B.E. (Electrical), AIME (Mechanical), M.B.A., is an engineer, social activist and a philanthropist. He envisioned the need for providing quality education in general, technical and management education in particular, way back in 1992. With this noble objective in mind, the society, under the able guidance of Sri A.V.V.Raju has established different colleges/institutions at different places and in different years.
